Service clubs like Rotary and Lions showed that ordinary people, meeting locally, can change their towns. Today AI assistants increasingly decide who gets found and who gets chosen. Society OS brings the service-club idea into that world, so local people and businesses stay in charge of their own record, their own data and their own community.

We grow from the ground up, one suburb at a time, rather than through top-down control.

The Place & Space Community

The Community runs on one hierarchy: Circle → City → Country. Each suburb or town has one Circle, and once a Circle is started it is never duplicated. When enough Circles in a City are active, they form a City Network. Trade Dollars ($T) run across all three. A global layer is planned as a future federation of Country networks, not a tier anyone joins.

What Is A Presence?

Every member has a Presence: the living, AI-readable record of a business or group that its owner controls. It is not a listing a directory keeps about you. Every Presence answers to an accountable person, and every AI agent action on it leaves a signed record.

Place is where a thing is: a premises, shopfront or suburb. Space is where a thing happens: a community, project, room or agent endpoint. Every Space is anchored to at least one Place.

You don’t claim a listing. You activate a Presence, bringing your Place into accountable identity and opening your Space to AI agents.

Trust You Can Check

Trust on Place & Space is earned in three levels. Validated means the owner has claimed the Presence and matched an ABN or proven their website. Vouched adds endorsements from 3 different claimed businesses. Verified adds both checks plus a GUARD conformance declaration.

Higher levels are listed first in the directory, ahead of paid placement. Giving and receiving endorsements is free on every plan, and no plan can buy a level.

• No lifetime deals, no countdown timers and no payment to reserve a place.
• Self Success is private. We never rank you against other people on it.
• Grades and rankings come from published rules you can check.

Open Standards, Kept Separate

The F-ACT, T-RUE and R-EAL standards are open and royalty-free, with a patent non-assertion pledge. They are planned to be stewarded by the Open Conformance Foundation, which is being established (incorporation targeted Q4 2026 to Q1 2027), not by any company. Commercial services sit beside the standards, never as a gate across them.
